FALKEN moves into action for the Red Bull Air Race in Budapest

Tyre brand FALKEN has invited over 40 tyre dealers from Hungary to attend the fourth Red Bull Air Race Championship, to be held in Budapest on 16-17 July 2016. This is FALKEN's second year as team sponsor for the Japanese Red Bull Air Race pilot, Yoshihide Muroya, who will enter the 2016 Red Bull Air Race Championship in the Master Class category. The race, held in Hungary's capital of Budapest, is among the most popular in the series and is forecast to attract over 70,000 spectators. It will take place against the stunning backdrop of the Parliament Building. A prime attraction will naturally be the spectacular start under the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, where pilots will have only eight metres of room to manoeuvre between the bridge and the water! Precision and speed are therefore paramount right from the outset, even before the pilots face the skill challenge of the Air Gates. “We're hoping that our FALKEN pilot, Yoshihide Muroya, can manage to build on his win in the Japanese race", says Stephan Cimbal, Head of Marketing at Falken Tyre Europe GmbH. “Our highest priority in Budapest is to embed the FALKEN brand into an all-round experience for our customers, the spectators and the media. Like the FALKEN brand, the Red Bull Air Race is all about high-tech, inspiration, enthusiasm and performance. By blending action and lifestyle, it creates a supremely attractive event, and is one of the highlights of the year in Hungary – a key market for us", he adds in explanation of FALKEN's commitment.
