FALKEN's AZENIS FK510 tyre, the brand's high-end model in the ultra-high performance class, has reached the finals of the summer 2017 tyre tests held by major German automotive magazine AutoBild. In the tests, over 52 tyres in size 225/50R17 W/Y were mounted on a BMW 320d and put through their paces; the tests recorded braking distances in dry and wet road conditions from a speed of 100 km/h (dry) and 80 km/h (wet). The FALKEN tyre delivered the third shortest braking distance in wet conditions at 34.8 m, and also put up a good performance in dry conditions at 35.5.m. “We are delighted at the result", confirms Andreas Giese, Manager Product Planning at Falken Tyre Europe, and continues, “We're optimistic that our AZENIS FK510 will also notch up top marks in the other categories involved in the tests. Its innovative rubber compound and advanced design, combined with the extensive experience we have gained from test drives over many thousands of kilometres, have really proved their worth."
